COVID-19: updated information about hotel bookings
|19.03.2020||The recent decision of Swiss authorities to shut down all touristic facilities (including hotels) has - and will have - an unprecedented impact on hotels in Montreux. However, most of them welcome the conference rescheduling to 2021 and have agreed on a partial reimbursement of paid accommodation bookings. An amount up to 30% of accommodation costs will thus be reimbursed to all participants who have booked their rooms via the plateform. To save unnecessary cost, reimbursements will be processed by national and international bank transfers. Banking costs will be borne by the organizers. The detailed reimbursement procedure will be communicated by e-mail in the upcoming days.|
Cancellation of all hotel bookings
All hotel bookings have been cancelled. Participants who have booked their accommodation via the registration platform do not need to contact the hotels themselves. In the last few days, the organizers have discussed with all hotels and evaluated the options of a partial reimbursement. We will be able to inform you about the situation in the upcoming days. All delegates who have booked a room via the registration platform will be contacted by e-mail.
