About Montreux

The picturesque setting on the shores of Lake Geneva, flower-decked lake promenades, café terraces, a casino, and beautiful Belle Epoque hotels are just a few of the reasons why Montreux is known as “The Pearl of the Swiss Riviera”. It is also much sought-after as an entertainment venue, hosting world-renowned events like the Montreux Jazz Festival, the Rose d’Or Festival, the Montreux Comedy Festival and Montreux Choral Festival.
